Meet our dedicated team members
Congratulations to our Eco team, Mrs Jones and Mrs Thomas on all of their hard work and gaining 'Platinum Eco-Schools status'.
"Being awarded Eco-Schools Platinum status is a fantastic achievement. The school, staff and pupils should feel proud of their hard work" - Tim Wort
The Eco-Schools Programme is pupil-led, involving hands-on learning that gets the whole school and the wider community involved in exciting environmental projects.
We are extremely proud to be a platinum rated school. We are very busy continuing all of our current projects. We are looking forward to keeping you updated with all of our new too!

Eco Bin Recycling
Our Eco team wrote a letter requesting new recycling bins for each area of the school and created a rota to complete an important part of our Eco commitments.
Every class in our school carefully recycle all recyclable products which are collected by our Eco team at the end of each day.
We look forward to sharing the results with you soon.
We have completed the first part of our project, distributing test tubes around the local area that will soon be collected by our eco team then sent away for analysis.
Our Young Dragons Project
Let’s Learn about Air Quality:
The Young Dragons Project is an effective way of learning about air quality, sources of air pollution and the effect of air pollution in our local area.
Our project also includes actions that our Eco team can share with pupils and our local community which can all have a positive effect on air quality in their area.
The proposed learning outcomes are:
- to discover the main pollutants in the air.
- the main sources of air pollution.
- the effects of air pollution on both people and the environment.
- how our actions can improve air quality in their local area.
